82 Miles are you Freaking kidding me!

The bike ride is finally over. I rode 82 miles. You had a choice between several distances 100 being the most. I ended up doing 82 and I had a blast. I am so glad I did it. It was an amazing feeling to finish it. I felt so good the entire ride. They had tons of stops with food and drinks so it helped me a ton. It was really windy, we had 30 mile an hour head winds which really slowed me down. We also had a freaking mountain to climb, not a rolling hill a mountain. I just about wet my pants going down the one hill, it was way scary. It felt good though after a steady climb to be able to just sit and ride down the scary hill. Oh, I just loved it all.

I think almost the entire ride I just kept repeating, just keep pedeling, just keep pedeling, you are freaking awesome, you are freaking awesome, just keep pedeling, just keep pedeling, you are freaking awesome, you are feaking awesome.

I am so grateful for all the support I received from friends and family. I could not have done it without Wendy who made my schedule and checked up on me and helped me through this whole process. She is amazing and I am so glad she talked me into doing it. I also could not have done it without Krissi who rode with me several times and taught me a lot of little techniques that helped so much. Cristy helped me out a ton she called me and talked to me about how my rides went. My favorite thing to do. Thank you to all of you who left comments on my blog and face book it was very helpful. I also am so grateful for a supportive husband who was willing to stay home with the kids and take time off of work and spend a lot of money so I could get ready. I love him so much.

I loved doing this and we will see what life brings next year. I am hoping to do it again and shoot for the 100 mile ride. I need to improve my speed and strength for next year. I am pretty happy with myself though. I started training in December and had not exercised in 4 years before all of this. Considering that, I think I did pretty awesome. I am on a good track of exercising and I hope to lose 45 more pounds. I lost 35 pounds through this whole process and I am so excited.

The pictures are not my favorite but I had to post some. Thank you Danielle for coming and supporting me that day. It was a lot of fun to see you at the finish line. Thank you Wendy, Krissi and Cristy I love guys and could not have done it with out you. YEAH IT IS DONE!!!! I DID IT!!!!!

Well the kids are out of school and we are counting down the days until they start again. I will only have Kreed home. Ashton is in kindergarten and has all day so I have three kids in school all day. I don't know what I am going to do with myself.

I also posted several post, I have been really busy and so once again I finally found a little time to set and take the time to post everything.

MORE CAMPING

Well we went camping again. Here are a few pictures of the trip. It was a lot of fun. We had fun being able to camp with Mitch's sister who lives out of town. It was nice to spend time with her.

Cake!!

So let me start by saying we have a tradition of singing on birthdays and whoevers birthday it is gets to take a bite out of their cake. No it was not Kreeds Birthday but Kaleb had said lets sing happy birthday to me and then I can shove my face into my piece of cake. I then said Kaleb stop it that's not funny. Then Kreed proceeded to shove his face into his piece of cake. I could no longer hold it in and started laughing. You got to love kids.

Camping Season here we come!!

Well we went camping for memorial day. It was a lot of fun. The kids love to camp. Hiking, fishing and all the other fun stuff you can do. We will be doing a lot of camping this year. We just bought a new trailer and we are loving it. Once again I am slacking so I put several post on here tonight.

This is my dad.

Kreed was so tired that he fell asleep while sitting in a chair in the middle of the day.

Kreed, totally filthy. He had a bath that night. Gross!

Kaleb got his finger smashed between two rocks. It was pretty traumatic. We thought he may have broken it but so far it seems to be doing okay. We dosed him with some Motrin and after about 2hours he was up and about again.

The kids playing with bubbles.

First swim day of the summer!

The kids went swimming outside for the first time this year. They had a blast. Mom was to lazy and would not set up the pool yet, so they had to settle for the sprinklers. I think they had a ton of fun though. I just think they are adorable.

Ashton's Preschool Graduation!!

Ashton Graduated from preschool. She was a flower for the program. She sang so loud it was kind of embarrassing. Next time I will remind her to sing in a pretty voice not a loud voice. She did really good though. She is not shy at all, she is very out going and can not wait to start kindergarten next year.

70 Miles

Well I just finished riding 66miles today. I was supposed to do 70. It was really windy though. I was fighting the wind the whole way. I think I can count it as 70 due to the wind. So I thought on the way home it would push me. NO!!! It changed directions and started blowing harder on the way home. It was really hard but I did it.

I saw a turtle on the Legacy Trail he was so cute. When I came up on him he hurried and hid in his shell though. I hope nobody else ran him over. I also had the privilege of meeting two cute squirrels. They were chasing each other and they went in the bushes and then all of the sudden out of the bushes they came and ran right in front of me and I almost took the tail off of one of them. Poor guys. I think they were horny.

Well I am totally fried. Burnt to a crisp. I am so Happy, I did. YEAH!!!

Slacker

Well I just posted several posts so scan down. I have been slacking. We have been so busy lately. Their is never enough time in the day to do everything. Between school for the kids and Mitch and young women's, my bike ride and just all the little things, life is crazy. Life is good though and things are going pretty good. Mitch has a couple weeks off, which I never take for granted. I love having him home. I have been a slacker on my bike lately. I do my stuff during the week that I am supposed to, but I have missed my last two big rides. I might make up my last one and I will for sure do my one for this week. I just need a kick in the butt. Love you all.

Ashton's 5th Birthday!!

We celebrated Ashton's 5Th birthday on April 25Th. She is growing up so fast. She had a lot of fun and got what she wanted. We love her to death. She is all girl, she love cloths and has an attitude and knows everything, she thinks. She is a very spunky little girl. She loves to color and loves to learn. I am so glad she starts kindergarten this year, she is so ready to go to school.

This is Ashton using the Cupcake Maker that Grandma and Grandpa Seegmiller got her for her birthday. She really had a lot of fun. It was pretty messy. She loves it though. This is all she wanted for her birthday. Mitch said next time we will take it to grandmas for her to use and she can make grandma a cupcake and she thought that was a great idea.

Easter!!! Finally

I am slow. The kids at fun at grandmas doing a Easter egg hunt and then the Easter bunny came and left them some fun toys and candy. The two older boys could not find their baskets until mom and dad got up and helped them. Easter was fun. I am glad it is over though.

BLAH BLAH BLAH

So I have not done a post for awhile. I don't have any pictures just some blah blah blah. Well after riding my bike lately I think my bike ride may be a 60 or 80 mile ride not the full 104. I am still training for 104 but I don't think I started in time. If this year ends up less I figure I can try for 104 next year. I really love riding I just need more time to build up the muscle and stamina I need for a full 104.

Mitch only has tonight and next Tuesday and then he is done with labs for this semester and only has one more class to take with a lab. I am so excited. He is doing really good this semester and should have good grades.

I have officially reach the 5 month mark of no soda. My commitment is over. I am free to drink soda at my own free will. I still have not had any. I really do love soda and would love to drink one but I am going to try and hold out and hopefully make this a permanent thing.

The kids are almost done with school and then I can sleep in once again. I can not wait to stay in bed a little longer. I may go crazy having them home though.

Easter and birthdays are coming soon so I will have pictures before to long. I know you are so excited you can hardly wait. Don't roll your eyes at me!!

104 miles

I am officially registered for the 100 mile bike ride in June. It is for women only and it helps breast cancer, I think. I also went and bought my bike on Saturday. I purchased a road bike it is all carbon for those of you who care. It is awesome, if you want a road bike I would recommend this place called Fezzari, they have a web site you can look at. I got the fore Cr2. I really liked the 2009 model but I picked the 2008 model because it was 300 dollars cheaper. They are the same just different paint jobs. My bike weighs about 19 pounds it is so light. I bought the pedals that you clip your shoe into, you have to buy certain shoes, I think I might kill myself with these.

Well on Friday I am going on a 50 mile ride. I hope I can keep up with everybody. I really like road biking it is a lot of fun. I personally would rather road bike than run. I HATE running.

Well that is my update, not much else it going on. Mitch is just doing school and will be done with this semester soon, yeah. Only one more class with a lab and then it won't be so bad. Chemical Engineering is he crazy. His mom always asks him why he is going to school when he has a really good paying job already, and he says because I want to do something I like if I have to work doing it for the next 40 to 50 years. I can understand that I guess.

Young Womens Project Number 2

Let me just say stress!!!! I don't know who's idea it was, this happened before I got put in. The very first activity I went to they had the girls make a flag on paper. The leaders, that would be me, my first week, were to take these paper flags home and make them into cloth flags to be used through out the year, new beginnings, girls camp and so on. The ribbon on the side is for beads, they get to put a bead on for every one thing they pass of in their personal progress books. The flags were supposed represent their class. I have put it of until the last minute, not sure of were to start. I finally started on it Sunday night and finished it Monday night. We will be using them on Wednesday night for New Beginnings. I am also in charge of the food so it had to be done so that I can get the food ready. I am so happy it is finally finished. The first picture is of the flag my girls drew. I guess I will start working on my activity for next Wednesday know.

Young womens activity

This is what we will be doing for our young womens activity on Wednesday. I can not take credit for it though because I got it off of sugar doodle on some ladies blog, she put the pattern on her blog so you could make them if you wanted. I did paint and cut these ones out myself though. The girls will be painting their own, so that should be interesting. Our theme this year is (Be thou and example) it is in 1st Timothy some where. Glad I am finally done and ready for Wednesday, it took longer than I had thought it would.

ICE FISHING

Saturday morning Mitch took the oldest three kids ice fishing, with our brother in law and his kids. The kids had a lot of fun. They thought it was pretty cool. Kaleb caught a fish as well as my sisters little girl. Mitch said they did not catch anything else the entire time though.

I stayed home in bed thinking I was going to be able to sleep in. When I finally got up to let Kreed out of his room he had taken his poopy diaper off and gotten poop all over. He had poop on his face and in his nails, it was so gross. I just put him in the tub and hosed him of and luckily I have a carpet cleaner so I just cleaned the carpets and wiped down the walls and door and handles and pulled all the bedding of and washed it. So today I get up to start getting the kids up for school and find Kreed in the bathroom with his poopy diaper off once again and he has gotten poop all over the bathroom, he had gotten a rag out and was trying to clean it up, let me just say I had to take a deep breath and just start cleaning. I have been really sick as of last night so when I woke up this morning I was running a fever and just felt horrible and achy. Being a mom I did not have a choice, I just started cleaning up all the poop and when I finally finished I took some pills and started getting the kids ready for school. It is days like this I wish I could crawl into bed and just sleep and read all day.

Well Friday we went to Mitch's grandpas funeral so Mitch had the day off so after we went and bought rock band 2 for our wii and an extra guitar. We had played it at Mitch's sister house and loved it, so we finally decided to purchase it. My kids love it as well as Mitch and myself. My sister and her husband came over Saturday night and we pretty much played rock band until after midnight. I was going to take pictures of the kids playing rock band but I forgot.
