82 Miles are you Freaking kidding me!

The bike ride is finally over. I rode 82 miles. You had a choice between several distances 100 being the most. I ended up doing 82 and I had a blast. I am so glad I did it. It was an amazing feeling to finish it. I felt so good the entire ride. They had tons of stops with food and drinks so it helped me a ton. It was really windy, we had 30 mile an hour head winds which really slowed me down. We also had a freaking mountain to climb, not a rolling hill a mountain. I just about wet my pants going down the one hill, it was way scary. It felt good though after a steady climb to be able to just sit and ride down the scary hill. Oh, I just loved it all.

I think almost the entire ride I just kept repeating, just keep pedeling, just keep pedeling, you are freaking awesome, you are freaking awesome, just keep pedeling, just keep pedeling, you are freaking awesome, you are feaking awesome.

I am so grateful for all the support I received from friends and family. I could not have done it without Wendy who made my schedule and checked up on me and helped me through this whole process. She is amazing and I am so glad she talked me into doing it. I also could not have done it without Krissi who rode with me several times and taught me a lot of little techniques that helped so much. Cristy helped me out a ton she called me and talked to me about how my rides went. My favorite thing to do. Thank you to all of you who left comments on my blog and face book it was very helpful. I also am so grateful for a supportive husband who was willing to stay home with the kids and take time off of work and spend a lot of money so I could get ready. I love him so much.

I loved doing this and we will see what life brings next year. I am hoping to do it again and shoot for the 100 mile ride. I need to improve my speed and strength for next year. I am pretty happy with myself though. I started training in December and had not exercised in 4 years before all of this. Considering that, I think I did pretty awesome. I am on a good track of exercising and I hope to lose 45 more pounds. I lost 35 pounds through this whole process and I am so excited.

The pictures are not my favorite but I had to post some. Thank you Danielle for coming and supporting me that day. It was a lot of fun to see you at the finish line. Thank you Wendy, Krissi and Cristy I love guys and could not have done it with out you. YEAH IT IS DONE!!!! I DID IT!!!!!

Well the kids are out of school and we are counting down the days until they start again. I will only have Kreed home. Ashton is in kindergarten and has all day so I have three kids in school all day. I don't know what I am going to do with myself.

I also posted several post, I have been really busy and so once again I finally found a little time to set and take the time to post everything.
