Korben and Kreed's Surgery

Korben and Kreed had surgery on Jan. 12Th. Things went really well. Korben failed his hearing test at school in his right ear, so I had to take him in to see the ENT doctor and he failed the hearing test they gave him so they said he would need tubes again. He had fluid in his ears, same as last time. So Korben had his second set of tubes put in and they also took out is adenoids, which the doctor said can sometimes help with fluid drainage. Korben's surgery went awesome he just pucked several times and after, sense then he has done great, he only took pain meds twice after the surgery.

Kreed had his tonsil and adenoids taken out because they touched and he was always choking. While we were at his appointment I had mentioned to his doctor that he had had several double ear infections and a cold sense before Halloween so he took a look at his ears and said they were bulging because he had so much fluid behind them. They tested Kreed's hearing which he failed in both ear's so the decision was made to also put tubes in Kreeds ears at the same time. Kreed's surgery went really well. The doctor told me he may not want to eat for several day's so really push liquids. When we got home he ate 4 popsicles, a yogurt, macaroni and cheese and the kid has not stopped eating. He has been of pain meds sense the second day. He sounds so much better when he talks, his speech is so much clearer.

We are just glad everything went so smoothly. My Uncle Warren works up at primary's so it was really nice, he took care of the boys.
