Firsts

We have had a lot of firsts this year.

Kreed is totally potty trained. It was relatively painless he was pretty easy. I have decided for me it works best to wait until they are just about to turn 3 and it is easy pesy to potty train. I waited on the last three and it has been no problem to potty train. I do not have any more diapers in my house. Yeah!!!! We only had a couple of really gross things and then he was done and it was over.

Well Kaleb, Korben and Ashton have all learned to ride there bikes without training wheels. Korben and Ashtons training wheels both broke for some reason and we just took Kaleb's off and sure enough they all learned to ride their bikes this summer. We did not even help them, they just got on and started to ride. It was so nice. I can not wait to go on a bike ride with them. We did give them a little incentive by offering to take them to buy a toy.

We have been camping a ton this year and have had a lot of fun doing it. We still have a couple more trips planned and I have girls camp next week so the kids will be home with dad. The summer is flying by. The kids start school the end of August and I will just have Kreed at home. The other three kids will be in school all day. I really suck at remembering to take pictures so I have no pictures of the kids doing any of the above.

Mitch only has a few more classes and this semester will be over. I can't wait. It will be nice even if he only has a few weeks of until next semester starts. Well life goes on here in the Bowles house. We are having fun and enjoying it for the most part.

Good to hear from you Heather!-how is your youngest kid three? How fun that they are all at the age where you can go biking together.

Sounds like you've been having a lot of fun this summer! I'm with you, I'd rather wait until they are older to potty train, it is easier. All day kindergarten! How'd you guys get so lucky! Enjoy the rest of the summer!

I can't believe you're almost completely without kids during the day. Totally awesome and you can totally get stuff done. Congrats to Mitch, one more semester down and probably a trillion left. :) Send Kreeds mad potty training skills Gracie's way. I know she is only just turing two, but I would love to have the diapers gone. I know she could do it. She talks about going potty....I just need to wait a while til I know she'll do it.
